QQI qualifications framework maps closely to Nepal's NQF. Postgraduate applicants need their bachelor's degree certificate and full academic transcript. English translation required for Nepali-language documents.
Passport must cover the full duration of your course plus 3 months. INIS requires a clear scan of the bio-data page.
IELTS 6.0 minimum for most bachelor's and taught master's programs. English language schools typically require 5.5. Some universities accept their own internal English test.
Explain your academic background, choice of Ireland and program, and career intentions post-graduation.

Minimum threshold is EUR 3,000 per year of study (so EUR 6,000 for a 2-year program). Additionally, EUR 1,500 arrival/emergency fund. Some INIS officers expect significantly more. Bank statements from Nepal 'A' class bank.
INIS increasingly expects partial or full tuition payment upfront, especially for private colleges and English language schools. Keep TT/SWIFT receipts.

Ireland's 2-year post-study work (stay back) permit
Graduates of Level 8 (Honours Bachelor) and above from Irish universities can apply for the Third Level Graduate Programme — a 2-year work permit (Level 8) or 1-year (Level 7). Many Irish universities have strong industry ties in pharma, tech, and finance. This makes Ireland attractive for Nepali graduates in Computer Science, Data Science, and Biosciences.
