About Sciences Po Paris

Sciences Po Paris is France's elite grande école for political science, international relations, law, economics, and journalism — consistently ranked among the world's top institutions in social sciences. Founded in 1872, Sciences Po has trained an extraordinary share of French presidents, prime ministers, and senior civil servants, as well as generations of international diplomats and policymakers. Its seven campuses across France (Paris, Reims, Menton, Lyon, Bordeaux, Poitiers, Le Havre) offer specialized regional programs with unique international dimensions.

Sciences Po is distinctively international — nearly half of all students are non-French, and English is used extensively alongside French across programs. Undergraduate students (bachelor's level 'College Universitaire') study at a regional campus for 2 years before moving to Paris for specialization; master's programs are based in Paris with optional double degrees at partner universities worldwide including Columbia, LSE, and Peking University. For Nepali students interested in international affairs, policy, or economics, Sciences Po represents a globally recognized credential with unmatched access to European and international networks.
